extra credit technology!

Hey Gang!

Here is your extra credit assignment for this week.  It must be posted by Friday!

In one paragraph (now that we know how to write paragraphs!) tell me your favorite piece of technology (cell phone, ipod, internet, tv, game station, etc...) and what makes it your favorite. Remember not to use the following personal pronouns, I, me, my, & mine, in your topic sentence.  You must post your paragraph as a comment to this post. Have fun!

P.S.  In order to get the credit, you must write a PERFECT paragraph!  If you forget an "ingredient", you will not get the points!

Being able to research any subject in the world makes the internet the best and most useful piece of technology. Internet can be so useful! You can use it to research things for reports. For instance if you were doing a report on the planets in our solar system, all you would do is go to google and type in: planets in our solar system and it would come up with almost all the info you need to write a report. And if you needed to print some pictures of the planets you could go to google images and type in planets in our solar system and it would give you pictures of the planets. Another cool thin abouth the internet is you can play games on it. There are many places to go on the internet and play free online games. The internet is also a great way to communicate. Weather it be through E-mail, IM, or even blogs. The internet is a very easy way to do many thing that is why the internet is our best and most useful piece of technology!

The cell phone is one of the absolute greatest things ever invented. Just think, before there were cell phones, people had to go home to call someone. Now, all you have to do is pull that little phone out of your pocket or purse and push a few buttons to contact someone. If you don't feel like calling, you can hit a few buttons and send a text. Then you can take pictures or record yourself, or someone else, as a memory of different people and places. You can also do other great things with them, like play games, listen to music, surf the internet, and much, much more! That is why the cell phone is one of the all time greatest inventions.

The cell phone is the most useful little device ever. You can call people when you need help, and if you have the iPhone, download songs like an iPod, go on internet, and much more stuff. You can text if you don't feel like talking to your grandma for and hour like me. I don't know to live without a cellphone. You absolutely need one. I still don't understand how they can make a cell phone do all of the things they do, all packed into that tiny little thing. Now, if you're a teenager like me, you'll want to go for a more modern, cool looking, instyle cell phone. Grownups- well, they don't really care as long as they call. I don't like calling, I'm definitely into texting. It's a lot faster if you want to know some juicy information. If you're into drama, cell phones can get you into a lot of trouble. Your parents should be able to trust you before you have one so you won't have any trouble at all. Then you'll be able to move on to be trusted to get, lets say, a car. It helps a lot to keep up-to-date with friends though. If you're choosing and contemplating against getting unlimited texting or unlimiting calling for your child, you should DEFINITELY get texting. You'll be paying thousands of dollars in texting bills if you don't. Cell phones are like a computer, iPod, whatever game electronics you have and a cell phone all in one!!! That's why they're most important.

The cellphone is the greatest invention of all time. You can call or text people with it. Its alot smaller and portable than a home phone. It has many features like a camera, games, texting, calling, and in some phones, a music player. The people who made the cellphone are frickin smart. You can do just about anything with it. For some people's job, a cellphone is needed because of their job. Like if you're in a place where there is no internet or something, you can use your phone to check your e-mails or whatever. Some cellphones, like the iphone, have an ipod installed in them so you can listen to music when your bored. So this is why the cellphone is the best invention of all time.

The best tecnology in the world is the white throne aka "the toilet" . I think the toilet is the best piece of tecnology. Where would you go to the bathroom. If you had to go really bad then the batrom is the place to go. All ou have to do is go pee or somethiong else flush and of course WASH YOUR HANDS!
This is why I love my Toilet

The ipod/mp3player is an amazing device. It enables you to listen to music or watch parts of movies with something not a whole lot bigger than a credit card. Best of all, unlike the radio there are no comercials or interuptions. You get to listen to the music you like and pick out. They are very portable and easy to use. If you are bored you can just turn on your ipod, put on your favorite music, and play a game on it. Although they can be kind of pricey, they are worth it. Ipods can help you relax before a sports event, while you execise, or even before you go to bed. The ipod is a pretty cool part of technology that can be used all over the world.

What’s better than being able to communicate with friends, play games, take pictures, and use the internet all in one? Nothing! That’s why they created the cell phone! The cell phone is the greatest piece of technology ever created! You can use it to call or text your friends. It is also good in case of an emergency. Some phones even have GPS on them! But wait, there's more! You can also take pictures and send them to all your closest friends. Or you can go on the internet and post them on MySpace! The cell phone is basically everything you want and need all stored up in one cute little phone. It even has games and space to store music on. That is why the cell phone is the greatest piece f technology ever invented. :)
